There is an endless range of shapes and flavours in both fresh and dry pastas. “Il primo”, as the pasta course is known, is eaten between the antipasto (appetizer) and “il secondi”( the main course). Some pastas are used in making soups, others for salads and some in the traditional way with a sauce.
